Thursday Night was the second home preseason game and my first opportunity to see the new 2013 Philadelphia Eagles. Being a season ticket holder, we are forced to pay for both the preseason games so I can not let money go to waste. I was unable to attend the first game due to prior engagements made by my wife. This week, since my wife was meeting old college friends for dinner, my evening was free. I had nothing to do so I took the subway trip down to the Linc with my sister and my father.
We arrived at our section (244) exactly at 7:30 seconds before kickoff. Even though it was only a preseason game, I could feel the excitement and goose bumps. Boom and we are underway as the ball flies out of the end zone. It was the defense that took the field first hoping for a better outcome than last week’s performance.
Here are a couple of my observations from the game:
