With the regular season only a week away, the Eagles find themselves in their final preseason game of 2013 as they travel to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets. At this point, it may sound cliche to say this as I have said this in each preseason game I have previewed, but this is yet ANOTHER important game for the Eagles. However, each game has been important for different reasons.
The first two games were important mainly because the spotlight was on both Michael Vick and Nick Foles as we were looking to see who would become the team’s starter. Chip Kelly answered that before the start of the third preseason game naming Vick the starter.
Last game, we shifted our attention to the defense to see how they would perform after some abysmal showings throughout the first couple of preseason games. We also saw the return of Jason Peters and how his addition to the O-Line would be with the now complete projected players. Safe to say, the O-Line looked pretty darn good. This line if all healthy, has some serious potential to be not only good this season, but great!
