Your Philadelphia Eagles at 3-3 have sole possession of the NFC East division(well, at least for the time being)! In an important game for the Eagles as well as quarterback, Nick Foles was put in a situation to get a win for the Eagles in the same place he got his first career win.
Foles was given the start in this game, as starting quarterback Michael Vick continues to nurse a hamstring injury and Foles answered the call. Foles finished the game with 296 yards and four total touchdowns.
Nick Foles hooked up with DeSean Jackson twice in the end-zone as well as wideout, Riley Cooper who had a sensational game tallying over 120 yards on just four catches with a clutch 47-yard touchdown grab that gave the Eagles a 21-17 lead in the third quarter which they never looked back on.
The offensive line for the Eagles played well this game, buying Foles time in the pocket to deliver short passes. One of the players who was very effective in the run/short pass game was none other than LeSean McCoy. McCoy was able to rack up over 100 yards on 25 carries.
