So, 1/4 of the season is gone and here are some things we’ve learned so far;
- The shelf life of a premier RB is fleeting. Arian Foster was a beast the last few years but this year I find myself needing to bench him and have looked to deal him in a few leagues. More and more teams are going with a 2 headed system ( in this case , Tate and Foster) , which throws a wrench in fantasy projections. The mobile QB has also watered down the run attack. One exception to this has been Marshawn Lynch, who has been ” a good earner” for a few years now, going back to his days in Buffalo. It just goes to show that in the right system, a running back can produce.
- The mobile QB is exciting for the NFL but hell on Fantasy owners. Despite being on the cover of most Fantasy Magazines, Kaepernick went either undrafted or in the late rounds and those that do play him are being frustrated by his stats.
