The Redskins boast a number of talented offensive options, but it is the defense led by veteran linebacker London Fletcher that could be Washington’s achilles heel.
In 2012, Washington’s defense ranked 17th in total defense (14th versus the pass, 22nd versus the run). But last year the team played without pro bowl linebacker Brian Orakpo.
On offense, the Redskins will attack opposing teams using the legs and arm of reigning rookie of the year Robert Griffin III. RG3 is not the player that the Eagles should focus their attention on as Alfred Morris is coming off a season where he ran 1,613 yards and 13 touchdowns. Griffin has a trio of wideouts that could pose problems for the Birds beginning with Pierre Garcon. When Garcon was not in the lineup, the Redskins were 1-5.
