In need of cornerback depth, the Eagles signed cornerback Roc Carmichael from the Houston Texans practice squad.
Carmichael, a fourth round selection in the 2011 draft, joins an Eagles team that has been looking for talent and depth across a depleted unit.
The Virginia Tech product had been with the Texans his whole career, played in six games in 2012 and registered nine tackles.
Roc Carmichael, whose real name is Rashad Bernard Carmichael, will join the Eagles secondary after Brandon Hughes missed practice for the second straight day.
The 25-year old is listed at 5’10″ and 195 pounds. He tallied 115 tackles in college.
