The Eagles today continued to shape their roster.
After yesterday’s mandatory cut down to 53 players, the Birds released 3rd-year cornerback Curtis Marsh in favor of cornerback Shaun Prater from the Cincinnati Bengals.
Prater, a second year player from Iowa, was awarded to the Eagles after ring waived yesterday.
Marsh, the former third round pick, was waived/injured.
The Eagles continued to make moves as they began to sign players to the practice squad. Thus far, the Eagles have signed OT Michael Bamiro, LB Travis Long, WR Greg Salas, and RB Matthew Tucker.
Former Eagles have also begun to find new homes as TE Clay Harbor and LB Chris McCoy both signed with Jacksonville. Wide receiver Russell Shepard has taken his talents to Tampa Bay.
We will continue to update this post as news trickles down.
